We both love to travel.  Dennis travels to continuously bring the history he has studied to life, finding the corners of the world where the world has evolved and changed over and over.  He brings those lessons, pictures, and places into his classroom.  The drive to travel is the need to ensure he is able to bring the world alive for his students.  I travel because I study human behavior.  Why is one country different from the next?  How do our beliefs, resources, cultures, and histories shape us into the world we are today.  And how is it impacting the changes going forward?

Our students want to be online influencers.  They write about it, they are constantly on media platforms, and they are always looking for likes.  The unfortunate part is, because we are not actively teaching them how to use these resources, and recognizing it as the changing landscape of our education, their worlds are growing increasingly smaller.  

We are hoping to change that landscape.  We are going to post places, travel tips, and fun facts for you to learn or share.  We are going to share teaching resources on the skillsets needed to travel, learn, and influence.  We are going to travel.  And we're going to use the platforms that students use to do it in order to teach what traveling can do for them to be an influencer the world has not yet seen.
