Two Teachers.  One World

Why Should You Travel?

Give a man a fish, he eats for a day.  Teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime.

It's a simple philosophy, but one that is centered in what we are trying to accomplish here.  We are two teachers from the Midwest.  We love teaching, learning, and traveling.  Between the two of us, we've been to over 20 countries, almost all of the States, and have close to 40 years of teaching experience between us.  We have traveled separately and together, and realized that most people don't get to experience what we do.  And it's not because they don't want too.

It's that they just don't know how.

Sure, people travel.  And a theme park with a giant mouse is great.  But there is so much more out there.  For the cost of that trip, you can see real castles, and learn about real Kings and Queens.  You can find your own lagoon, take a train to another country, or simply just get away from it all.  Is the mouse worth it?  We're not saying it isn't.  But is it worth it to do so. much. more?

We're saying it is.  And we're here to teach you.

Main Objectives

In true teaching fashion, we're here with three objectives:
  • To teach using the world as our classroom.  Bringing the world to our students through multiple platforms.  On our Teacher(ers) page you'll find our Reading Passport, our Shop Resources, and our traveling recommendations.
  • To inspire adults and students alike HOW to travel.  What do you need, how do you spend money wisely, what you can let go of, and what are must do's.   The Textbook is a growing resource for you to use along the way. (Click on the Learn(ers) Button!)
  • To travel and live in the moment.  Follow our Travel(ers) page as we blog and share our adventures to inspire traveling!

Follow along!

Don't miss out as we share our adventures!  We are using social media to share what we've learned along the way!
